Professional lighting and controls design
Family: Married, daughter and son, in college and high school
Some Personal Favorites:
Inspiration: My Dad
Buildings: Chrysler Building, Sydney Opera House
Architects: Stanford White (designed my favorite personal project, Lovely Lane Church)
Antoni Gaudi (for sheer boldness unlike anyone until Gehry)
Furniture: Henri van de Velde, beautiful sleek pieces ahead of their time
Styles: Art Nouveau
House: I'd love to renovate a classic Queen Anne.
Artist: Caravaggio- the first master of light and dimension
Music: Rock / Chris Cornell, and I still have an affinity for that overproduced 70's rock
Odd personal fact: I was "this close" to being a syndicated cartoonist.
Activity: Volleyball
